Review: Terrific Time at Titchy Town

Boom Girl and her friend had the most fabulous time at Titchy Town in Chellaston. This attraction is a 90 min interactive Role-Play session in their indoor play village designed for little ones up to age 8. You can join in too or sit back and treat yourself to freshly brewed coffee and a homemade cake.

At a very affordable £5 for entry for 1 child and 1 adult, you can play in 6 play zones, comprising of a shop, house, builders yard, vets, cafe and laundrette. There is room in each play zone for the children and adults to play! There is a small hot drink and cake offer, which is nice addition to the day and presently, they operate on a cash basis only. Don't forget to take your own snacks for the kids to eat too!

There is plenty of parking near the adjacent shopping precinct or they suggest parking at their sister business, Scallywags nursery, which is next door. Titchy Town is then accessible via a gate on the main road a very short walk from the nursery.

Open 7 days a week, the sessions start from 9:15am and the last session ends at 2:45pm, except on Fri, Sat and Sun when they have an additional late afternoon session at 3:30pm

Boom Girl keeps asking to go back, it really was such a lovely, well-crafted and thought-out play area.

They also have plans to extend the Chellaston play village and to open an all new ‘SOS’ themed Titchy Town, coming soon at Melbourne Scallywags nursery!

Highly recommend having a pootle over with your littles and checking out this great attraction!
