World of Flowers – Derby Lantern Sculpture Trail FREE

Commissioned by Surtal Arts, eight emerging artists from Derby & Derbyshire will create 11 stunning giant lantern sculpture in a trail through the city. Inspired by the theme of climate action, the “World of Flowers” trail will see 1-3metre high LED-lit lanterns, made of eco-friendly or recycled materials, appear in twelve different locations around Derby City and Normanton – connecting Derby’s diverse communities and places. Families can go hunting for these special sculptures while discovering new places, people and stories and take pride in the city we call ‘home’. The trail is FREE for everyone.
